How is SIP value calculated?

Each monthly payment grows at the expected monthly rate until the end of the period. The calculator adds up every payment's growth; with a step-up, the monthly amount rises once a year.

What return should I assume?

Use a conservative figure for your type of fund and remember that returns vary from year to year. The result is an estimate, not a promise.

What does inflation-adjusted value mean?

It shows what the future amount would be worth in today's money, so you can judge whether it meets your goal.
